An extra element is that each player can pull back on the controller to charge their special meter. The gameplay is very similar to Super Fighter where each character can perform about 3 special moves with the punch or kick buttons. Sango Fighter 2 is a 2D fighting game based on the Three Kingdoms era. It has already made me humming the game’s tunes in my head as I work in the office. I don’t think there are enough praises in the praise book that can be given to this game.
This is a game I will be revisiting time after time. You haven’t lived yet until you’ve played Monkey Island 2 (or at least other Monkey Island games). They’ve turned a classic game and made it to a modern classic. The game was a commercial success and had lead to an HD remake in 2010. We were our own walkthroughs because searching for a solution online was not readily available as the Internet was not prevalent back then.

Sometimes we would help each other on how to progress in a sticky situation. There were times when one person would be playing and everyone else would gather around to watch the game being played. My 2 brothers, sister, and cousins were very much into this game as I was. This game brought back so many good memories because of its interesting storyline, humorous dialogue, funky music, and inspirational art. I believe Monkey Island 2 was the first adventure game I had played when I was in junior high back in he early 90’s. There was a limit on how many books you can check out at one time, but I would check out every book just to see what remarks were said about them. Most books were useless and some books offered a bit of humor. Even though I knew which book to check out, I would spend hours and hours at the Phatt Island library just browsing the catalog. On hard mode, one of the item needed to progress the game is a book from the library. Monkey Island 2 filled that imagination and provided plenty more. Imagine a room where you can have all the root beer you’ve ever wanted. Imagine walking in the serene woods and hearing the water rolling through the streams. Imagine being in that tree house location on Phatt Island and just running around like a little kid playing tag or hide ‘n’ seek. In almost every scenery in the game I would leave the controls alone and just sit back to watch the backgrounds. The locations were something to be awed at. Then I would think about how these objects can be used in an adventure game. There were common every day items which included soap and shampoo to the abnormal like a can of worms. I would think about things I use daily and sketch them out on paper. Items in the game were interesting and inspirational that I found myself looking for objects to draw as if I were making an adventure game. I give the developers a +1 for including things in the game that served visual purposes. They are just memorabilias such as, the Elvis plate found in the souvenir shop on Booty Island. There are some items that appear to be useful, but really aren’t.
Most items collected are used throughout the game. Guybrush needs to collect items to progress on his adventure and use these items to get himself out of sticky situations along the way. I’ve been playing this game on and off for about more than 20 years now and it is still fun by today’s standard. Its humor and cleverness will make you want to play it for a 2nd or 3rd time. It’s great that this game offers 2 different mode settings because playing this one once is not enough. You can play the game in lite mode or in hard mode. Throughout the game, the player needs to charter a ship so that he may travel to 2 other islands where he meets with some interesting characters. As Guybrush starts to explain, there is a flashback to where he starts his adventure on Scabb Island. Elaine drops in to help, but first asks him to explain himself. The first scene shows Guybrush hanging around on a rope holding a chest. The story involves a pirate wannabe, Guybrush Threepwood, in his hunt for the greatest treasure of them all, Big Whoop. Monkey Island 2 is a graphical point and click adventure game.
